Coliving, also known as communal living, or shared living, allowing housemates to build communities around shared spaces like kitchens and living rooms while renting a private bedroom.
You’ll never have to worry about utility bills, council tax or WiFi and our cleaning team comes in weekly. We look after the garden and all maintenance of our houses.
WHY RHOUSE IS DIFFERENT
We are three friends who live locally in Reading. We take pride in our houses and maintain them to the highest possible standard. We joined together and formed RHouse to enable us to give our housemates a better service.
I moved into Highbridge about 9 months ago and everything has been excellent, from viewing the house, moving in and throughout the time I’ve been living here. We are very lucky in that not only is the actual house kept in great condition but our landlords (Steve and Kath) and Rebecca and her team are also lovely, very personable and extremely helpful. They all go above and beyond to make our time at Highbridge the best it can be!

My mum brought me to Compton Close two years ago and when she collected me today she couldn’t believe that the house looked the same as when I moved in. This is because you are a brilliant landlord and you look after this house incredibly well. I have made friends for life, we have even been on holiday together!
Whilst I am excited about my new job and the move, I am so sad to be leaving Compton, my lovely room and my friends.

HOW RHOUSE WORKS

FIND YOUR SPACE
Take a look at our locations to find out where RHouse homes are, which homes have availabilities, and schedule an in-person or virtual tour.
APPLY AND GET APPROVED

Once you have selected your home, you can begin the application process. Pick the homes that best fit your needs & arrange viewings with RHouse.
If you'd like to meet the existing housemates in person or via video call, we can arrange it. If you're happy and we're happy, let's move forward! Pay a £100 holding deposit, that will be put towards your security deposit

THE LEGAL STUFF
We'll need some basic info, references and photo ID to complete our tenanting process.
When we have completed our checks, final arrangements can be made for you to move in. Pay the initial rent and the balance of your security deposit, which we will then place with the Deposit Protection Service for the duration of your stay

Let's make it official! Once all approved parties have signed and initial payments and deposits have been received, you are ready for move-in.
